Combining our efforts with other Arc units across the country, we have succeeded in bringing major advances to people with disabilities. The availability of Supplemental Security Income, mandated special education classes and de-institutionalization are a few of these achievements. The Arc-South Bay also has a strong commitment to the prevention of disabilities and to research that will help improve the lives of our clients.
