The Arc is a membership organization. Membership numbers are important to the advocacy efforts of the State and National Arc’s, who lobby on behalf of our consumers.
Members of the local Arc are also members of the national Arc. Members receive publications of interest and such benefits as reduced rates on medical/life insurance.
Local members elect their Board of Directors, and vote on certain issues, such as those affecting the bylaws of the organization.
