Bylaws Election Results
The bylaws revision was passed almost unanimously by our members. The Elections committee reported a total of 75 ballots cast, with one against and one disqualified. When the next election comes around, only three seats will be up for bid, rather than four, as a result of the bylaws change.
We welcome Sylvia Cameron back to the Board of Directors. Ms. Cameron has served on the Board in the past and has graciously agreed to fill an appointed position. This brings our current Board roster to eleven members, which is a full Board now.

Outcomes Management Report
Attached to this Update is a modified version of our Outcomes Management Report for last fiscal year (July 1, 2000-June 30, 2001) for Southwest Industries. As most of you know, Southwest Industries is accredited by C.A.R.F. (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). The accreditation process is a two-day survey when everything from personnel files to wheelchair accessibility are examined with a fine-tooth comb. The Outcomes Management Report is an integral part of the C.A.R.F. survey, as it serves as a report card of sorts where we self-grade ourselves on goals we believe are important. This report is presented to you to serve as a reference point for our upcoming Outcomes Management Report (for the period ending June 30, 2002).
