Holiday Activities Ahead!
St. Katherine’s Greek Orthodox Church in Redondo Beach will once again host our consumers and their families to a terrific holiday meal on Saturday, December 14th at 5 p.m. The church is located at 722 Knob Hill in Redondo Beach. Reservations are required.
And, as they have for many years, the Torrance Elks club will have their annual Dance for our consumers on Monday, December 9th from 7-9:30 p.m. This event will be at the Torrance Elks Lodge at 1820 Abalone Avenue in Torrance. Not to be outdone, our programs will each have a special celebration.
The Adult Development Center in Hermosa Beach will have their annual holiday blowout on December 20th. We are told to expect Santa and his elves, presents, wonderful food and great music!
Across town, the Gardena Adult Development Center will have their blast on December 20th also. Seems Santa will be very busy that day, making the rounds to each of our programs!
Southwest Industries is expecting a catered lunch, dancing and entertainment for their party at a date yet to be determined.
No matter where you roam this holiday season, you will see plenty of smiles, hear lots of music, and taste lots of treats at our various facilities.

Lawn Care Service Can Save You $$$
Do you have a yard that needs some TLC? We have several crews of our consumers who can come to your yard and apply that oh-so-needed tender loving care. Whether it is mowing, trimming, weeding, raking, digging , or general lawn clean-up, our crew can work for you on a regular basis or as a one-time job.
Rates are as low as $35 per month for weekly lawn care. Each job is bid specifically for the size of the job and the types of work needed. To obtain a free estimate, call Community Employment Services Manager Derek Benton at 310-532-6333, ext. 232.
