About the Site

This website was relaunched in June 2006, sporting a new look as well as increased functionality. The site (aside from some older Vanguards in the archives) is coded in valid XHTML 1.0 Strict and conforms to accessibility standards. This means stronger cross browser rendering in modern browsers as well as more intelligent behaviour from screen reader programs for those with extreme visual difficulties.

A combination of fluid and elastic design allows for the site to be intuitively read and navigated with nearly any combination of text resizing sizes and resolutions, making it easier for those with disabilities to view the site in the means they find most comfortable.
